Hence, it's very important for new players to make the right ones, so as to build a strong foundation in the game.
Therefore, here, we introduce this new concept of 'Foundation LUQs' for new players to work on, for their 1st year of playing Soccer Spirits Reborn.
The Foundation LUQs (*Recommended)
For all new players, in your 1st year of playing Soccer Spirits Reborn, your goal will be to gather the 8 recommended LUQs below, to build a strong foundation in the game.
Yes, you will need around ~1 year to be able to have the basic foundation of LUQs to be able to start competing at a decent level.
You will need to make a PvP and a PvE striker LUQ for your striker.
For PvP,
A one-size-fit-all LUQ for a new player to make, was considered but it's just not possible.
The required LUQ for different PvP strikers vary too greatly.
Hence, you will have to ask around for the best LUQ for your specific PvP striker.
For PvE,
Under most circumstances, SoB/Agni is the strongest PvE LUQ against most PvE GK.
But for certain circumstances where enemy GK has very high DR (Presty etc.), SoB/GoFJ could do slightly better to provide extra penetration power to your striker for more damage.
In general, it's still more recommended to make SoB/Agni over SoB/GoFJ.
For goalkeepers, the above are the 3 most commonly used GK LUQs.
For starters, you should pick one to make. As you go along, you should own all 3 for versatility.
Which one to pick?
The current PvP meta is skewing towards critical resistance meta due to the introduction of penetration resistance debuff LUQs.
I prefer ER/DM for PvE due to the heals. ER/DM also the go-to LUQ for Ali, WW legend gk.
PhS/DM are most commonly used for Presty, Ein etc.
For assist, you should make SC/PS.
It works for both long-range shots and front-line shooting.
Totem LUQs
Totem LUQs are the most important LUQs.
Whether if you are able to OHKO and clear a certain content, it all depends on totem LUQs.
Without totem LUQs, you cannot clear PvE content with ease.
There are 4 totem LUQs that you must make, priority going to the DI totem LUQs first.
These are the two DI totem LUQs that you must make, one with EBM sub, one with FS sub.
SC or PS, it depends on the coordinating striker.
PS/EBM is used to allow 1.5 bar striker to use their active in an OHKO scenario, where spirit is limited.
Both works fine but SC/EBM is generally preferred if spirit is not an issue.
FS or IB depends on whether if you are going for max damage inflicted increase (DI) or max penetration power.
IB/WD gives 20% more pass for your assist which will be better if enemy GK has high DR and you are going for 100% pen.
FS/WD when enemy GK has relatively low DR.

Based on the above, you should have made:

Intermediate LUQs
If you have survived the 1st year and has not quitted Soccer Spirits yet, you can spend another half a year making some intermediate LUQs.
