First, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped with the guides written in this forum.
The guide will lead the new & returning players on a Pilgrimage through Soccer Spirits.
After which, You will be reborn as a Soccer Spirits Master.
The first step to starting this game, is to understand all the currencies available in the game and how they work.
There are 9 types of currencies in Soccer Spirits:
After having a brief understanding of the currencies,
Now you would want to continue your Pilgrimage by understanding the types of cards available:

Now that you have a basic understanding of the game, you would want to learn some of the important game mechanics.
Namely, Evolution, Special Training, Plussing of your players.

There are 9 types of currencies in Soccer Spirits:
Stamina (ST)
BP
Battle Ball
Season Points
Dimension Stones
- Used for matches in Story Mode & Space-Time Continuum
- Auto-regenerate 1 ST every 5 minutes
BP
- Used for matches in Colosseum of Despair
- Auto-regenerate 1 BP every 3 minutes
Battle Ball
- Used for matches in PvP Arena / PvP League
- Auto-regenerate 1 battle ball every 30 minutes
Gold
GP
Friendship Points (FP)
- Since the Winter Patch (Dec 2014), gold has become a rare commodity due to the increase of gold sinks.
- You need gold for evolution, training, spirit stones and many in-game functions.

GP
- GP is a rare commodity in the game that is hard to obtain unless you spend lots of time in the game.
- GP is valuable due to its ability to purchase 5* players / Evolution Materials from scouts etc.

Friendship Points (FP)
- Used for friendship draws (right tab from crystal draws)
- May be obtained free after using friend ace in a match or from managers that give FP upon using their actives
Season Points
- Used to purchase items in the season shop.
- Every season is 2 weeks and there will be boss matches to fight in Space-Time Continuum to obtain season points
- Season points are also known as boss points.
Crystals
- Used for Player Draws
- Also used to purchase items from crystal shop (ST/BP/Battle Balls/Skins/Gold/Penguin & Swirly Matches etc.)
- Used for unlocking scout slots and also upgrading lodgings (inventory spaces; max 510 lodgings)
- Can be obtained via purchasing with real life cash
- Can be obtained limitedly in game via completing achievements, story mode missions and daily missions.
- Often, there are also in-game events that give crystals as rewards upon completion.
Dimension Stones
- Used to purchase items from 'Dimension Shop' (Legendary Players/Unique Stones/Littre/5* Players etc)
- Can be obtained limited in game via completing the player chains system. (Click your player > info > story tab)

After having a brief understanding of the currencies,
Now you would want to continue your Pilgrimage by understanding the types of cards available:
There are 7 main types of cards available:
1) Player Cards (2*, 3*, 4*, 5*, 6* cards)
2) Gatekeepers and Shu-Shu
3) Managers
4) Evolution Materials (Elementals/Blackhole Swirly/Rainbow Elementals/Swirlies)
5) Rival Cards
6) Bosses
7) Legendary Bosses
- 6* cards are legendary cards. You should never sell them and should try to purchase them if spotted on scout.
- 5* cards are the 2nd best cards in the game and will form the majority of your team.
Hence, be sure to read on before you decide to sell any of your 5* cards
2) Gatekeepers and Shu-Shu

3) Managers
- Managers provide huge bonuses to your team ability (TA)
- Managers also helps you to play the game more effectively, with the same amount of ST

4) Evolution Materials (Elementals/Blackhole Swirly/Rainbow Elementals/Swirlies)
- First, you will need to have an understand of how evolution works.

5) Rival Cards
- Rival cards are 4* cards that may be obtained/farmed through Rival Matches in Space-Time Continuum
- A new type of rival is introduced every week and its match stays for 14 days for you to farm it.

6) Bosses
- Bosses are 5* cards that may be obtained/farmed through Boss Matches in Space-Time Continuum.
- You can also purchase 3 copies of a boss using Season Points farmed from its minion matches.
- Bosses rotate every 2 weeks and Boss matches appear only on the first weekend (2 days only).

7) Legendary Bosses
- Legendary bosses are 5* cards that are hyped to be as good as legendary players
- It is very hard to beat these matches for new players and developers designed the matches for teams of >11,000 TA rating.
- Currently, legendary bosses do not have a schedule and randomly appears, based on the likes of the developers.
