[Guide] Evolution & Special Training
(Updated September 2016)
This is a guide for new players who wish to understand the mechanics of evolution and special training.
I will discuss player evolution first, followed by special training below.
Evolution:
Every player has 2 states of evolution:
The player experiences a gain of stats when evolved and a further gain of stats when ultimate evolved.
This gain of stat varies from players to players and is random in nature.
During the rebirth patch, it is mentioned that the evolution system has been tweaked such that
Common Q&As:
a) Do my players need to be at maximum level before I can evolve them
Ans: You can evolve your players regardless of its level
b) Do my player's level reset to 1 after I evolve them?
Ans: No. Your player's level only reset to 1 when undergoing special training.
c) Do my player's skill points reset after I evolve them?
Ans: Yes, your player's skill points reset after evolution as the skills change and you can redistribute them.
d) Do I evolve my players again after I special train them or the evolution state stays?
Ans: The evolution state stays after special training. You do not need to re-evolve your players
e) Do my players gain more stat if I evolve before or after special training?
Ans: No, the amount of stat gain is the same for all players regardless of the order of evolution/special training

The material required for evolution varies based on:
The amount of evolution materials required is the same for all players of the same base stars.
The element of the elementals required varies to match the element of the player.
Where to obtain the evolution materials?
You can obtain elementals via elementals match in Space-Time Continuum, FP draws or scout.

For evolution, 2* player requires:
3* elementals (3x)
For evolution, a 3* ardor player requires:
4* elementals (2x)

For evolution a 4* player requires:
5* elemental (1x)

For evolution, a 5* player requires:
5* elementals (4x)

For ultimate evolution, a 5* player or a season 1 legend requires:
Rainbow Elemental or Blackhole Swirly (2x)
5* Emperor Swirly of the same element
5* elementals (6x)
What is Special Training?
Special training increases the number of stars on your players while evolution changes the color of the stars.
All players can increase their stars to a maximum of 7 stars (Level 70)
When a player is 6 star and level 60, he/she gets a special flower frame border.
At 7*, you can reroll the attribute of one spirit stone slot (2nd or 3rd) of the player.
Important to note:
1) You cannot use the same card as the player you want to special train, for special training.
2) The player that you want to special train must be at maximum level.
4) The ST materials can be level 1 and does not require leveling.
5) Special cards cannot be used for Special Training. For example, Rivals, Elizabeths, Bosses.
There is a (S) symbol on all special cards.
6) You can use special trained players for special training of higher grade players.
For example, you can special train a 2* to 5* and use it for special training of 5* players.
Common Q&As:
a) Do my players need to be at maximum level before I can evolve them
Ans: Yes. Your player needs to be at its respective maximum level.
b) Do my player's level reset to 1 after I evolve them?
Ans: Yes. Your player's level reset to 1 after undergoing special training.
c) Do my player's skill points reset after I special train them?
Ans: Yes, your player's skill points reset after special training and you can redistribute them.
d) Do the special training stay or reset after I evolve them?
Ans: The special training stays permanently. It does not reset after evolution.
e) Do my players gain more stat if I special train before or after evolution?
Ans: No, the amount of stat gain is the same for all players regardless of the order of evolution/special training

For players, you can obtain them from draws, dimension ship, scouts, free player boxes, purchase events.
Materials required for Special Training:
For 6* players, you need 6 copies of 6* players (Level 1) or 6* meras
For 4* players, you need 4 copies of 4*players (Level 1) or 5* meras
For 3* players, you need 3 copies of 3* players (Level 1) or 3* meras
For 2* players, you need 2 copies of 2* players or 3* meras
