Hi, everyone!
After the major update in November, our development team is constantly preparing for the next one. Actually, we’re not fully ready yet to deliver all the details, so we’ll go over some topics we have planned in the February update.
<Club Battle Rewards>
It’s been about 10 months since the full revamp of the Club Battle happened this February. We apologize that even though many Clubs enjoy the new system now, the rewards for it has not been good enough.
We think we should be able to share the finer details of the compensation plan with you in next month’s developer’s note, so for now let us share what we have in mind and the general direction. There are various rewards offered in the different contents in the game, but we’ve always felt that Club Battle rewards should be different and unique. Thus, we’d like to present a reward that can showcase how well your Club has performed in the season. Please think of this as a way to show off that you’re in a high-tier Club.
Developer's Note New Club Suits
※ These are some exclusive suit frames for top-ranking Clubs. Please note that the final image may change during the development process.
<Club Mission Improvement>
The Club Mission that was updated along with the revamp of the Club Battle also seems to have a lot of room for improvement. Since the missions were randomly assigned and club members have to work together to complete them, some mission requirements can be a problem for some clubs.
The fundamental purpose of the Club Mission was to bring club members together as they work to accomplish a goal. We’re thinking of a way to adjust Club Missions so it’s less concentrated on a few members doing a majority of the work, and having more be able to chip in.
<Other Improvements>
We’re discussing how to improve Colosseum of Infinity, which admittedly hasn’t undergone any major modification since its introduction, as opposed to Colosseum of Despair and Colosseum of Trials.
However, more time is needed to prepare what we have in mind. Thus, we’ll first be adjusting the logic that determines the enemy team change. There is a limit to how many times you can Change Enemy Team, and after the first free one, it costs 30 GP. We’re trying to improve this in a way where, at the least, you don’t end up with the same type of team on the same floor.
We’ll also be adding convenience-related changes to GP and Event Scouts as follows:
New warning pop-up will appear when trying to refresh when the current Scout has an un-scouted Legendary Player or Unique Spirit Stone
Bundle purchase option for Reward items when applicable
Preventing the list of resetting back to the left after every purchase
For the Minion Match, the type of minion drop over the period of two weeks is determined on which Space-Time Continuum Boss is scheduled at the time. We’re aware that many consider Fontus and Rasiel’s minions especially to be the worst in terms of value. Internally, we went through a lot of balancing discussion on how game currency should be distributed with these minions. We think many view acquiring GP is the core of minion matches, and will be balancing around this.
Additionally, we have plans to improve other areas of convenience, such as being able to dismiss players at once (excluding the Ace player) with a single button, and being able to register multiple Power-Up materials with one-touch.
We also plan to finally add the new Thunder fairy.
Developer's Note New Thunder Fairy
※ New Thunder Fairy, Daram (name tentative)
This is all we can share regarding the February update for now.
Last but not least, we’d like to talk briefly about the next new Legendary Player. Although all the roles for each attribute has been filled up, we still plan on preparing more Legends to appear. Please don’t worry, and be on the lookout for their arrival.
Here we are, on the last week of 2018. We’ve had a total of 4 big updates this year, and there must have been updates that have made you excited, and others that have made you worried. Nonetheless, we’ll keep working to satisfy our dedicated userbase with the new year, so please stay tuned. We wish you all a Happy New Year, and as always, thank you very much.
Sincerely,
The Soccer Spirits Development Team.
