Long time on and off player need help with team build.

Hi,

I'm a long time on and off player so I have an extensive list of characters but only a few of them are actually built up.

I also have a bunch of gate keepers and such too ready to go but I've always been one of those people who try to save them until I get a decent team before powering up.

However never really bothering to look up team guides etc thoroughly, and always seeing a lot of outdated ones I never just really did anything.

Anyway thought I'd make a post and see what you guys would think I should do if I wanted to both improve pvp and increase the rate I can get ds (which I presume more CoT).

My current team which can clear CoD up to 38 and CoT 35 is:

Renee 6* 3 sup IC / Elaine 6* 3 sup Prey Sentence / Sharr 6* 5sup TB +160
Cynthia 5* /  Linmay 6* ES / Miho 5*
Magnus 6* Ancient Stomer / Shu 7* Metatron will 5sup +160 / Kevin 6* 3sup
Angela 6* 3sup +160.  
And Kiki either front or backline.

My mid is pretty abysmal, and usually I rely on Shu to get it to the front. It doesn't work very well really.
Plan was to switch Shu and Miho around once I had her built up a bit. 

I also thought of going mono Ardor but it wasn't doing as well as I was expecting (again not really built up chars and don't want to waste resources which I may regret).

Also recently scouted Serestia which made me rethink my plans.
Also almost at 900 ds to purchase a legendary.

So, questions:
What kind of direction should I go teamwise for pvp.
What level CoT CoD would I realistically aim for?
Which Uniques should I aim for first?
Which legend should I buy? (I suspect the answer is Meta and go ardor/dark), or 5 stars to scout for that matter.
Order to work on first?
Who should I use the Beelzebubs / Meras on?
What viable team combos can I make?

I know that's a lot of questions but kinda over my head with all the info at this point and not knowing what to do.

Basically probably comes down to 'if you inherited my account what would you do?' pretty much.
