Let us analyze the patch details and see if it was as terrible as what the developers' notes review wrote.

Extreme Evolutions (Jibril, Presty)
Following Jibril, her skill buff upon EE doesn't buff any of her unique skills (Heal, Team Buff, Active).
Instead, her line totem was buffed.
- The Passive Skill “Aura of Retribution” will be replaced with “Aura of Punishment”. (Based on Lv. 5)
> Aura of Retribution: Increases the damage that the allies within the position inflict by 10% and increases their Critical Rate by 15%.
> Aura of Punishment: Increases the damage that the allies within the position inflict by 15%, and increases their Critical Rate by 20% and Pass Effect by 25%.
How BIG is this line totem buff?
It depends on the frontline. If Jibril is a lone assist in the frontline, the buff is minimal.
But if you pair her up with Baltheon, 25% increase in pass effect for Baltheon active pass can be huge.
Hence, the difference between Jibril (evolved) and Jibril (EE) is not huge. It's a good buff but not overwhelming.
It allows Jibril to maintain her OP/broken status while not elevating it to a new level.
Following Presty EE, her skill changes are:
> Clockwork of Caring: Increases the effect of Spirit Stones on Presty by 25% and the HP by 500. (Activates only when placed in Goal Keeper position)
> Clockwork Activation: Increases the effect of Spirit Stones on Presty by 30%, HP by 600, and Defense by 20%. (Activates only when placed in Goal Keeper position)
This looks like a relatively mild buff to Presty but when combined together, Presty ability to survive OHKO is largely improved.
To understand this, you need to be an expert at OHKO, meaning, you run OHKO teams & you know what are the key ingredients to OHKO.
A good HP, good defense, elemental DR totem are the key survival factors to OHKO.
Hence, Presty buffs, despite being a small buff on different aspects will come together to help her survive OHKO much better.
For people who are trying to kill Presty with double assist, you might need one more active pass now to take her down.
It is by no means a super buff for Presty but enough to make her the true legendary GK, unlike Jin.
CoD Helpers Extreme Evolutions
Nice Artwork.
Lemy gets a 15% DR line totem included in her passive now.
Phil and Net gets 15% critical rate debuff/resistance totem.
Chiffon gets 20% spirit generation totem while Elizabeth gets 15% penetration power totem.
Total of 7 EEs this patch to drain our EE materials.
Colosseum of Despair helpers are not worth the EEs so most of the new players can save your materials.
These EEs are more for the endgame players to enjoy
5 New Unique Stones:
- Garden of Red Flame (Ardor): Increases the damage that the target receives by 30% with a Steal./ Increases the Attack Power by 4% for every 5% of HP lost.
- Eye of the Storm (Whirlwind): Decreases the damage that the allies within the position receive by 10%./ Decreases the Action Speed of the enemies within the position by 12%.
- Heart of Minerva (Thunder): Increases the Critical Resistance by 15% when being Attacked. (Accumulates up to 3 times)/ Recovers the Action Bar by 20% when being Attacked.
- El Repayon (Light): Recovers 15% HP first when being Attacked and reduces the damage received by 12%./ Increases the Critical Damage Resistance by 25%.
- Residue of Madness (Dark): Increases the Attack Power by 20% when receiving a Pass. (Accumulates up to 4 times)/ Increases the Critical Rate with an Attack by 25% for each target.
Comparing it with leaked details:

Whirlwind unique got nerfed when released.
Ardor and Light unique got buffed when released.
Is any of the new uniques broken/OP?
I won't say so.
Light unique is a GK unique, looks good on Kei/Isillia.
Whirlwind unique is a totem unique, looks good.
Ardor unique is a PvP damage unique, looks good on Choi.
Dark unique, feels average, 5% more attack power buff than TB, 25% less critical rate than WoM.
Thunder unique, looks good, needs more experimentation to see who it is good on.
Universe League & PvP Decay
As a future universe league player, the lack of real rewards make me wonder why I should compete for the top rankings.
But for the game in general, honorable rewards instead of tangible rewards will probably satisfy the community more.
Many players were afraid that endgame players, who are already ahead, would be further ahead with the rewards from Universe League.
Instead of reseting the honorable rewards every season, if it was permanent chat icon and border, it might give everyone a chance to get there.
PvP Decay
7 days feels reasonable. However, the lack of details regarding the penalty is unacceptable.
How many points will be lost if there is no record of tournament activity for 7 days?
And for the 8th day? 9th day? Would it be a continual loss of points per day or per 7 days? And by how many points?
Transcendent Power-UP > Amplified Power-UP system
Officially announced by Bigball to be the new end-game content.

APU +30 will simply mean +120 stats for 5* players and +144 stats for 6* players.
(Distributed equally among the stats)
What are the effect of getting a 5* player to APU +30 (+120 stats)
+36 dribble
+36 steal
+24 pass
+30 defense
+54 hp
+101/90 reflex for lvl 50 and lvl 60 respectively
+3.75 action speed
+4.5% crit chance
+.12 recovery rate
These base stats increase are then multiplied by totems/ace effects etc.
The most significant increase will be for reflexes, and damage for strikers.
Hence, APU +30 for strikers will be recommended.
For low HP gk like angela, the 54 HP increase will translate to 150~200 HP more in match which is rather significant for low HP gk.
How hard is it to get a player to APU +30?
TL:DR
Only base 5* and above can be released for a APU material, special cards and special trained 4* and below cards not included.
You need 3 master yowu to +1 APU a 5* player which translates to three 5* players needed for 1 APU.
Compared to 7* Special Training, where 36 5* players is needed, the level of investment needed is ~2.5x higher.
However, 5* drop rates from draws remains the same, while the ease/ways of of acquiring base 5* cards have not improved.
This is a crucial difference because for special training, you could still use non 5* base stars cards but APU, 5* below base cards are not allowed.
Hence, it's reasonable to conclude that most of the F2P are unlikely to be able to compete with the P2P in this game anymore, without spending.
It's not a bad thing for me.
I never liked F2P players to be able to compete with me, without spending.
Hence, Universe League will be for top players who can APU +30 their teams eventually (not immediately).
If you want to compete for high CoD scores, Universe League, APU +30 is necessary.
Thats what APU +30 is. (Equivalent to 2 superbs)
Beside CoD, Universe League, future CoT trials might also require key players to be APU +30 since its an official endgame content now.
Change to Draw System
● The Free Draw will be modified.
> Previously: Resets after 71 hours after performing a Free Draw.
> Changed to: Resets at 7am PST (8am PDT) every day.
※ Friendship Draw will reset at [PST] 7am/ 3pm/ 11pm ([PDT] 8am/ 4pm/ 12am).
● The Draw Mileage acquired will be increased by 10 times. You will get 10 Mileage Points from each Draw.
Now we get one free draw per day instead of every ~3 days.
It's a consolation.
As for draw mileage, many people are speculating that we will get a 6* mileage from 5 free draws (50 mileage points).
Most likely, the mileage required for 6* mileage will be increased by 10 times too, to 500 mileage points required for 6* mileage.
Hence, mileage system required draws remain the same but we get one free draw everyday instead of every 3 days.
This is a good change that most people are happy about.
Other Notable Changes:
● Fixed the issue of the Weather Immunity not being properly applied to the Friend’s Ace Player.
● The cooldown of purchasing a Quest Penguin Match will be reduced from 4 hours to 1 hour.
● The Quest Swirly Match will be improved.
> Previously: Cooldown – 24 hours, playable 3 times, drops 4★ - 5★ Swirlies
> Changed to: Cooldown – 12 hours, playable 2 times, drops 5★ Swirlies
※ This change will not apply to the Matches purchased before the change. Matches of the previous version will no longer be available for purchase.
● A border image will be added to Rare Spirit Stones.
* Developer’s Comment: We would also often get confused by the subtle difference between a Common and Rare Spirit Stone.
● Now the Players can receive the stat bonus of a Special Skin just by possessing it.
※ If a user possesses multiple Skins, only the stat bonus of the Skin that offers the highest amount will be applied.
Overview
New content (CoD, Uniques)
Universe League probably cannot be included as new content, as it is the same P2P league but with new ranks.
Amplified Power-Up System is a new $$$ sink which doesn't provide F2P players other avenues to compete with P2P players.
(Unlike 7* special training where you could still use non 5* base cards)
Good or bad patch depends on whether if you are P2P, F2P, casual P2P etc.
It's a relative good patch for the P2Ps.
We can now whale for Universe League, APU +30 where F2P can never compete with us again.

- Users will be able to Evolve a Master Yowu into a Grand Master Yowu by using 7 Master Yowus, including the one the user wishes to Evolve.
TL:DR
