Soccer Spirits 7* Player Spirit Stone Attribute Reroll Guide™
(Updated 10th September 2016)
What we all want is to spend the least amount of dimension stones to reroll the desired spirit stone slot attribute for our 7* cards.
And this will be what I will show you in this guide.
There are 2 main methods to reroll spirit stone slot attribute.
I will show you the 2 different ways below and the maths behind both methods.
Lastly, I will discuss and conclude which method is better.
Video by courtesy of our clubmate #Gerashi:
The video itself doesn't explain much. It basically shows the reroll process in action =)
This is the very first screen that you will see when you click to reroll spirit stone slot attribute:
Everyone has to click OK regardless if you've decided to reroll spirit stone slot attribute.
This brings you to the next screen:
Here is where you get to choose between: Refund 75 dimension stones OR "Select New Attribute", meaning you accept the change.
If you pressed "Select New Attribute", you will get the light element as the new attribute for the slot.
If you pressed "Select Original Attribute", you will get the original ardor element as the attribute for the slot.
Method #1 (4 Attribute Reroll Method)
In this method, you will keep reverting/refunding until you get the spirit stone attribute that you want.
This means that you will never press "Select New Attribute" unless you get the desired element that you want.
Maths:
If you get it on 1st try: 150 dimension stones
If you get it on 2nd try: 75 + 150 dimension stones = 225 DS
If you get it on 3rd try: 75 + 75 + 150 dimension stones = 300 DS
If you get it on 4th try: 75 + 75 + 75 + 150 dimension stones = 375 DS
On average, there are 4 options and you should get it within 4 tries, ~375 dimension stones needed on average
Method #2 (3 Attribute Reroll Method)
In this method, it is a little different where your goal is to reduce the spirit stone slot attribute options to 3 instead of the original 4.
You achieve this by accepting the first reroll even if the outcome is not your desired spirit stone slot attribute.
For example, you clicked reroll, you wanted light slot but thunder slot appeared instead.
After you accepted the first reroll, the subsequent reroll, you should always revert ("Select Original Attribute").
*Only accept the reroll ONCE because the attribute options will not reduce further to 2 or less.
Maths:
If you get it on 1st try: 150 dimension stones
If you get it on 2nd try: 150 + 150 dimension stones = 300 DS
If you get it on 3rd try: 150 + 75 + 150 dimension stones = 375 DS
If you get it on 4th try: 150 + 75 + 75 + 150 dimension stones = 450 DS
Comparing the 2 methods:
Method #1 (4 attribute reroll method) will always cost 75 DS less than Method #2 as long as you don't get it on first try.
Method #2 (3 attribute reroll method) increase the chances of getting your desired attribute by 8%, up to 33.33% from 25% chance.
This potentially reduces the number of tries that you need to reroll to get your desired attribute, which in turn translates to lower DS used.
Which method is better?
It depends on your luck.
Personally, I would recommend method 2.
Have fun and good luck all ~!!
