My guide will show you how to farm the same amount or more gold than what you used to farm with those paid penguin matches.

First, lets see how badly those paid penguin matches have been nerfed.
To save the efforts needed to come up with the lengthy calculations, lets refer to:

So with 300 crystals, we used to be able to farm:
300c + Halloween Eve + Charlotte and then selling with Maya + Mave = 1.440m + 809k = 2.249m gold.
1.440m direct gold from the match
809k gold from selling the penguins.
Now that the direct gold from the match has been nerfed by 5x, from 10,000 to 2,000, so we can only earn 1,440m / 5 = 288k gold.
So now, the total earn-able gold from paid penguin matches would be 288k + 809k = 1.097m gold.
So how can we spend 300 crystals and still earn the same amount as before? (2.249m gold)
The best way is to farm the weekday swirly matches.
However, you cannot achieve this goal with JUST the same gold managers you used for paid penguin matches.
Investment in ST consumption reduction managers is required.
But the question is, how much investment is needed?
*Assuming you have maxed gold managers that was also used for the paid penguin matches earlier.
If you use maxed Hasel + Ingram + Anaestella, you will make 3.42m gold with 300 crystals.
That is 1.5x more than what you used to make from the old paid penguin match before nerf.

Conclusion
It is possible to make the same amount or more gold as before, from paid penguin matches.
But investment in ST consumption reduction managers is needed.
A minimum of 3x 5* littres or 5,400 gp will be needed.
