(Updated 21th March 2016)
First, I will discuss how club match works.
Second, I will discuss the possible club match strategies.
Lastly, I will discuss the possible improvements that can be done on club matches.
What is Club Match?
Club Match is a new game mode, released in March 2016, exclusively for players that have a club.
You can edit your club match formation via the 6th deck (rightmost) in the formation menu (Yellow Circle).

> The mark will be displayed to other users in the Club Menu, Friend Menu, Colosseum of Despair, and Galaxy League.

Club Match Strategies:
There are 5 aspects of Club Match that is within our control:
1) Choosing who to go into the Club Match with you
It is tempting to just choose the 4 best clubmates everytime you enter a club match.
However, you must also note that there is a 24 hours cooldown each time you used a clubmate team.
So, unless everyone in your club has a galaxy league level team, you would want to be selective instead of picking all the best teams at once.
Our recommended club strategy will be to choose 2 strong teams with 2 weaker teams to go into a club match with you.
2) Choosing the order of who to go first and who to go last in a club match
Currently, the default order is for one's own team to go first in a club match.
As you might have already known, if a clubmate uses your team and win a match, you gain personal club points.
We are still uncertain if you gain club points when your team is selected or your clubmate has to win a match using your team.
But the exact wording from the patch notes is:
"If another Club Member uses your deck and wins, you will be rewarded with a small amount of bonus Points."
So our recommend club strategy will be to choose another clubmate team to go first.
This will help your clubmate to gain personal club points. You can do so by tapping on their ace image (Yellow Circle).
Besides choosing the order, its good to check your clubmate team before using them.
You can check your clubmate team after entering into a club match by long-pressing on their ace image (Yellow Circle).
3) Defense/Offense Club Weather
The basic club weather is Abnormal Gravity (-50% to heal effects).
Club leaders can set the Defense club weather to stack with the basic weather.
Defense Club Weather is the weather that enemy will experience when they face your club.
When you face enemy club, you will experience enemy defense weather and not your own club defense weather that your club leader set.
There are 4 types of Defense Club Weather:
The default defense club weather is Normal Weather.
After the club leader set to a different defense weather, the normal weather cannot be selected again.
Different PvP strategies are used for different weathers.
The worst weather to choose is piercing wind since it affects your teams too and the HP lost in a match are carried over to the next match.
Hence, piercing wind is not recommended.
For Rainy Weather
This weather basically nerfs all the buff totems while not affecting the debuff totems.
It will reduce the effects of enemy reflex/speed buff totems by 75% while allowing your own debuff totems to shine.
This is recommended for a club with teams mainly using debuff totems.
This is recommended for teams that are going for the OHKO strategy because HP buff totems effects are reduced by 75%.
This is also good for teams going for 2HKO strategy with the same reason because HP buff totems effected are reduced.
For Soul Grave Weather
This weather basically increases the spirit cost of all actives by double (x2).
It will affect IC assist that do not have soul grave immunity like IC Luka.
IC Luka will not be able to do active pass due to lack of spirit.
This usage of this weather will be combined with the use of an IC back-line player to counter-attack or steal/kill the totem or the striker when IC luka normal pass to one of them.
This weather will also make it hard for players like Miho to cast their active as 3 bars of spirit will be needed.
4) Purchase of Personal Club Scout Items
As everyone would have known, only the SUITS and its powerup are worth purchasing.
But the questions are:
SUITS provide damage reduction. So the question is, who needs the damage reduction.
Goalkeeper > Centre Midfielder (CM) > ???
??? depends on your team. If you are running a mono thunder 4 man mid, you want the SUITS on your 4 man midfield.
If you are running Elaine CF, you want elaine to have that SUIT.
If you are running IC mid, you want that IC mid guy to have that SUIT.
Regardless, feel free to post your question in the General Questions section if you need help.
The temptation will be to SUIT up your striker, legends after goalkeeper. But striker wont need the SUIT.
Whether to buy more SUITS or more powerup first?
The temptation is to buy 11 SUITS and suit up all your PvP players.
But the best method, is to SUIT +5 your goalkeeper and your CM first.
Reason being, it cost 1200 points to get the 1st suit while it costs 800 points to power-up it up further for the equivalent effects.
5) Club Leader Purchase/Club Master Scout
Currently, there are no items on club master scout worth purchasing.
Hence, our recommended club strategy will to be reserve those points for potential future useful items.
However, if your club has decided to spend to refill club balls to be the top 3 clubs, the unlimited members selection item will be useful.
6) Tip to reset Active Cooldowns over Consecutive Club Matches
As you might have already known, the active cooldowns are supposed to be carried over consecutive club matches.
Until the team that you are using, loses.
However, the active cooldowns are remembered by their team positions and not by players at the moment.
Just try it yourself. Change Luka position in the next club match after using her active pass in the match before.
You will see that you can use her active pass right away again :yes
Possible Improvements to Club Match:
(Updated 21th March 2016)
First, I will discuss how club match works.
Second, I will discuss the possible club match strategies.
Lastly, I will discuss the possible improvements that can be done on club matches.
What is Club Match?
Club Match is a new game mode, released in March 2016, exclusively for players that have a club.
- It is a 5v5 match where you select 4 of your own clubmates teams to go into a 5v5 club match with you.
You will be controlling all 5 teams, including your own, in manual or auto mode, of your choice. - Going into a club match consumes club balls which regenerates every 11 hours and 30 minutes.
Club Balls may be refilled with crystals up to a maximum limit of 2.
Every refill will cost more crystals. For example, first refill will cost 10 crystals. 2nd refill will cost 20 crystals and so on...
Club balls cannot be refilled with crystals, in the off-season. - Club Match Season lasts for 6 weeks, followed by an off-season of 2 weeks.
You can edit your club match formation via the 6th deck (rightmost) in the formation menu (Yellow Circle).
Club Match Rules & Winning Conditions:
- To win the club match, defeat all 5 enemy teams.
- Club members who are selected have a cooldown of 24 hours before they can be selected again.
This may be changed if your club leader used the unlimited club-mate selection ticket from master club scout. - Once you’ve been matched up, the team composition of you and your opponent will be fixed.
Any changes you make after, to your deck or Spirit Stone will not be applied to the Club Match. - After you win a round, you will play against the next enemy team with the same remaining HP, skill cooldowns.
The HP lost during the previous match will not be recovered.
Likewise, the active skill cooldowns will not be reset when advancing to the next round. - You can choose the team to go first and the team to go next after you lose a match.
After you selected a clubmate team to go first, you cannot select another until that clubmate team loses. - The weaker team will be applied with a buff that increases the entire team’s attack power and HP, up to a maximum of 50%.
- The default weather of Club Matches will be Abnormal Gravity (-50% effectiveness to heal effects)
Enemy club leader might or might not have set an additional weather to mix with the default weather.
You can then use the Scramble Weather feature at the cost of Gold to randomly change the additional weather set by the enemy club.
The Gold cost will continue to increase the more this feature is used, resetting when the club match ends.
- Your win-rate is determined by everyone in the club who used your team.
So if someone used your team and lost, your win rate will drop even if you won all matches using your own team.
Club Match Rewards:
When you participate in a club match, you will gain:
- Personal Club Points - For you to purchase items off the personal club scout
You can gain up to 10 personal club points if you win all 5 matches without any losses;
This means that you use 1 team and beat all 5 enemy teams.
You can also gain personal club points (+1) when another club member uses your deck and wins. - Club Score - Used to determine the club ranking
You can contribute up to 8 club score to your club when you win all 5 matches without any losses. - Master Scout Points - used by the club leader to purchase items off master club scout.
You contribute 2 master scout points to the club everytime you participate in a club match
Top Clubs Rewards:
The top 3 Clubs from the previous Regular Season will receive special marks that suit the Club’s ranking.
> All members of the top 3 Clubs will be receiving the mark.
> The mark will be displayed to other users in the Club Menu, Friend Menu, Colosseum of Despair, and Galaxy League.
Top Club Member Rewards:
> 1st place within Club: 500 Personal Club Points
> 2nd place within Club: 400 Personal Club Points
> 3rd place within Club: 300 Personal Club Points
> 4th place within Club: 200 Personal Club Points
> 5th place within Club: 100 Personal Club Points
> Below 6th place : 10 Personal Club Points
Overview of Club Match Rewards:
- The only tangible club match reward is the SUITS and its power up, purchased via using personal club points.
All the other rewards are useless.
The SUITS gives your player card its border/frame like how it was with the level 60 card borders, in all game modes.
Equipping a SUIT on your player will give him damage reduction, in only club matches. - Being the top clubs do not give any crystals, dimension stones, littres, beelzebubs or tangible rewards of any sorts.
The only reward is the pride or recognition mark after the season ends.
Club Match Strategies:
There are 5 aspects of Club Match that is within our control:
- Choosing who to go into the Club Match with you
- Choosing the order of who to go first and who to go last during the match
- Club Weather
- Purchase of Personal Club Items
- Club Leader Purchase of Items for Club
- Tip to reset active cooldown that is carried over consecutive club matches
Also, you can choose to do the club match in auto/manual mode. The choice is obvious.
Its important to try to beat all 5 enemies without any losses (using 1 team only) because it gives more points.

Our recommended club strategy will be to choose 2 strong teams with 2 weaker teams to go into a club match with you.
- With 3 strong teams, you should be able to beat most clubs in manual mode.
- You do not know who you are going to meet and if you meet a top club, you will have a good chance of losing.
Thus, bringing only 2 strong teams will reduce the casualties and save the rest for other club matches. - The current club match~up system makes it such that its easy to meet weaker clubs.
Most of the times, you can use 1 team to clear all 5 enemy teams.
Hence, there is no need to put all your strong teams in one club match.

- For example, if you used Luka at Forward Right (FR) position and used her active pass, you can use her active pass again if you put her at forward left or forward mid position.
- However, the person who is forward right the next match, will receive an active cooldown that is supposed to be Luka's Cooldown.
Just try it yourself. Change Luka position in the next club match after using her active pass in the match before.
You will see that you can use her active pass right away again :yes
Possible Improvements to Club Match:
- Allow us to check on clubmate teams before starting a club match and not after.
Currently we can only check clubmate teams after the match is started.
Would be good if we can check clubmate team at this/below screen which is not possible atm. - Lower the Club Ball Regeneration Time
2 free club match per day is too little and not satisfying.
Although some people might like it as it is now.
But more club balls also mean faster getting out personal scout points to SUIT up.
At the current pace, it will take 1 year to SUIT up your whole PvP team.
And 3 years to power-up all the 11 SUITS. - Better Club Match Rewards
Higher Personal Club Points Rewards
Crystals and Dimension Stones for Clubs in the Top Rankings, like CoD etc.
League Tiers could be implemented like PvP and promotional rewards given.
