Event Scout [Guide] + How to Get the Most Event Points per ST™
This guide seeks to explain the following:
What is Event Scout?
Event scout is a new game feature that was introduced in 2015.
It allows players to obtain event points from the use of ST, from non boss-related matches.
These event points, can in turn be exchanged for items in the event scout.
*You do not gain any event points from doing Boss-related matches.
Don't ask me why. This is how it works.
Items Available for Exchange (Up till now):
** What you want to note is, you can scroll towards the right of the Event Scout for more items.
** This is unlike Boss Season Scout. Hence, many people might miss that.

Questions & Answers:
1) When do the Event Scout appear?
The appearance of the Event Scout is randomly decided by Bigball.
It often coincides with festive days (2nd event scout was Valentine Event scout etc.).
2) Can you farm enough event points with only free ST, to redeem everything on Event Scout within Event Period?
The answer is yes and no.
Yes, meaning if you have all the necessary ST managers such as Gerold, Ingram, club daily ST maxed etc.
And also play 24/7.
No, meaning most casual players will not be able to farm the necessary event points to redeem everything, with only free ST.
New players are also unlikely to do so, since they do not have the necessary managers yet.
3) How much event points can you farm per day with free ST only?
This depends on your managers, club bonus etc.
On average, if you play 24/7 with the bonus ST from managers & club, you can farm around 500 event points per day.
This includes free ST gifts from Selena daily also.
4) With the limited event points, which is the priority of event items that I should redeem?
If you go by the value of the item relative to the event points, the priority should be:
If you have an event point gain per ST of >1, due to ST consumption reduction managers, it will be recommended to redeem the event ST.
Because you will be getting back more event points from the redeemed ST than the event points spent.
How to increase the amount of event points that you can farm?
There are only 2 methods to do so:

1) Without using any managers, do the highest match cost possible for most event points per ST.
2) When using 20%~25% reduction in ST consumption, 8 ST matches prove to be the best match to do.
3) When using the maximum 50% reduction in ST consumption, do the highest match cost possible for most event points per ST.
How was the average event point gain per match determined?
I used the data from a Reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/soccerspirits/comments/4a5h3n/math_st_consumption_and_ep_efficiency/)
Under the section of EP efficiency, this guy calculated the average event point gain from ~70 swirly matches (10 ST).
This is empirical data and might deviate from the actual values.

- Skin (1500 event points) -> 300 crystals & 30 dimension stones when in shop
- 5*~6* season 1 player box (1500 event points) -> approximately 545 crystals worth based on 5% drop rate
- Gatekeepers (600 event points) -> only for littre and beelzebub
- 4*~6* season 1 player box (500 event points) -> 4* can be used for ST and a good chance at 5*
- Premium tickets (150 event points)
- GP
If you have an event point gain per ST of >1, due to ST consumption reduction managers, it will be recommended to redeem the event ST.
Because you will be getting back more event points from the redeemed ST than the event points spent.
How to increase the amount of event points that you can farm?
There are only 2 methods to do so:
- First method is to increase the amount of free ST you can gain daily.
Use managers that gives ST when you used their active
Ingram, Gerold, Eun and many more.
Make sure you login at least twice daily, once after reset, and once 12 hrs after reset.
This is to ensure you receive the twice daily Selena gifts (40 ST ~ 60 ST each time) - Second method is to use managers that reduce ST consumption
Ingram (20% max), Hasel (20% max) & Anastella (10% max)
The amount of event points gained per match is based on the match ST cost.
You can gain event points, from a minimum of 50% of the match cost, up to the match cost.
For example, if the match cost is 10 ST, you can gain 5~10 event points for doing the match.
When the match cost is reduced by managers, the event points gain is not reduced.
It will still be based on the original match cost.
This is why you can gain more event points by using managers that reduce ST consumption.
You can gain event points, from a minimum of 50% of the match cost, up to the match cost.
For example, if the match cost is 10 ST, you can gain 5~10 event points for doing the match.
When the match cost is reduced by managers, the event points gain is not reduced.
It will still be based on the original match cost.
This is why you can gain more event points by using managers that reduce ST consumption.
How does Match ST cost reduction work?
This is how it works:
- First, add up the total match ST % reduction that you have, from all your managers.
Next, use the equation (100% - [Total match ST % reduction]) x match ST - For example, 0 spu Ingram + 0 spu Hasel, total match ST % reduction is 20%.
If you do a penguin match, the original match cost is 8 ST.
So with the equation, (100% - 20%) x 8 = 6.4.
The discounted match ST cost will be => 6.4 will be rounded down to 6 ST - If it was 6.5, the discounted match ST cost will be rounded up to 7 ST.
Anything 6.49 and below will be rounded down.
How to get 1 ST discounted match cost for a 2 ST match?
- To do so, you will need 26% ST cost reduction.
- (100% - 26%) x 2 ST = 1.48 ST => which will be rounded down to 1 ST.
- You can achieve this via 0 spu Ingram + Hasel and a 1 spu Anaestella
OR
3 spu Ingram + 0 Spu Hasel and vice versa.
Which matches should you do to gain the most event points per ST?
