A Complete Rating Guide To Assists™

This rating guide aims to provide my personal, subjective opinions on 4* and above assistors.

A Brief Overview of the Current State of Endgame Environment
The purpose of this overview is to provide players with a better understanding of the ratings given in this guide.
It explains the current state of endgame environment and relates to the ability of an assistor to fulfill its purpose.
Purposes of an Assistor
Increase striker damage (High pass)
Provides Stat Buff (Penetration Power/Critical Rate/Critical Damage/Attack Power)
Debuff totems / Stealer
Colosseum of Despair (CoD)
High reflex assistor are capable of stealing the ball from enemy backline even at high CoD floors due to reflex cap on enemies.
Speed buff/Action bar recovery from assist is desired as enemy backline at high CoD floors are very fast.
Critical rate is not that much of an importance in CoD due to lack of critical resistance from goalkeepers.
Critical damage is more desired for OHKO CoD strikers.
PvP (Endgame)
The current goalkeepers high critical resistance meta/environment makes critical rate from assistor extremely desirable.
In contrast, assistors with critical damage buff to strikers are less desired as strikers are unable to make critical hits easily.
Penetration power is also desired due to most goalkeepers having >70% damage reduction at endgame PvP.

A brief explanation of how Assistor's Active Skill relate to its Element
Ardor - Active increases critical rate of striker upon pass
Whirlwind - Active recovers spirit upon pass
Thunder - Active increases penetration power of striker upon pass
Light - Active increases attack power/ % max hp / critical damage of striker upon pass
Dark - Active increases critical damage of striker upon pass
Weather Immunity Discussion:
The most desired weather immunity for an assistor is Soul Grave Immunity.
Soul Grave weather makes the spirits required for an active skill to be 200% of its original requirement.
Without soul grave immunity, it makes it harder to do an active pass > active shoot combo
More time will be required to gather spirits where time is the most precious commodity in the game.
If your striker is a 1.5 bar striker, it will make it impossible to do the combo.
A Look into the Important Stats For A Assistor:
Pass (Importance Rating: 10/10): Determines the maximum amount of pass that the assistor can pass for
Speed (Importance Rating: 9/10): For assistor to get the ball first before your striker, in PvP League (Auto Mode)
Reflex (Importance Rating: 7/10): Determine if the assistor is able to counterattack enemy and withstand counterattacks
Steal (Importance Rating: 5/10): Determines the base damage of a steal from your striker/frontline players on enemy backline
HP (Importance Rating: 5/10): Determines the your assistor survivability in front line
Ardor
> Nari, The Artistic Dancer™ (S-)
Detailed Analysis:
Nari is a PvP critical rate passer.
She does not provide critical damage or penetration power but her high pass compensates for that.
Her 'provoke' skill makes her a decent PvP CM or a front counter to slow debuff PvP strategies.
Average Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ 2000 with totem/stones to non-lucid striker
Stat Buff - Critical rate
PvP - Extremely desirable
CoD - Stat buff is less desirable but high pass makes up for it
Utility - Self reflex buff makes her a good counter-attacker / stealer
Weather Immunity:
Soul Grave - Extremely Desirable for Assist (refer to Weather Immunity Discussion For Assistor™ above)
Skills:
1) Shining Route (Active): Transfers 180% of the pass effect and 40% of the critical rate
2) Artistic Soccer II: Recovers the action bar and spirit's gauge by 40% with a pass
3) Provoke: Recovers the action bar and spirit by 30% when you're attacked
4) Rainbow Shift: Increases Pass effect by 50% and Reflexes by 15%

> Renee, The Candy Demon™ (B+)
Detailed Analysis:
B+ for all strikers; A for Ardor Striker
Renee is the hyped ardor specific assist for Sharr/William, especially when she gets her EE.
She provides both critical damage and critical rate for the strikers, thus making her extremely desirable.
She has a self speed buff, which makes her more likely to get to full action bar before strikers for an active pass in PvP.
She is a slightly weaker Baltheon, lower passives and lower base pass due to non-EE.
Average Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ Needs further observations
Stat Buff - Critical Damage
PvP - Desirable for Ardor Striker
CoD - Desirable but low pass compared to other EE assist
Utility - Similar to baltheon, high self buff.
Weather Immunity:
Soul Grave - Extremely Desirable for Assist (refer to Weather Immunity Discussion For Assistor™ above)
Skills:
1) Evil Lollipop II (Active): Transfers 170% of the pass effect and 30% of critical damage.
2) Demon's Pride II: Increases the action speed, reflexes, and pass effects by 25%
3) Aura of Happiness: Increases the pass effect by 25% and the critical rate by 20% of the Ardor players within the position.
4) Sharp Pass: Increases pass effect by 30%

PvP: Ardor Striker (1>3>2>4) Non-Ardor Striker (1>2>4>3)
PvE: Ardor Striker (1>4>2>3) Non-Ardor Striker (1>4>2>3)
PvE, usually dont need the critical rate buff.

> Neraizel, The Transformed Dragon Girl™ (A+)
Detailed Analysis:
Neraizel is typically viewed as a mono WW passer, and only used with mono WW.
She is often used as a PvP CM in many mono WW galaxy teams due to her high dribble, reflexes and fast speed.
Similar to Nari, her active does not provide a damage buff but her high pass stat (highest in game) compensates for that.
Average Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ 2000 with totem/stones to non-lucid striker
Stat Buff - Spirits Recovery
PvP - Desirable only with mono WW or WW hybrid
CoD - Mostly used with WW strikers only
Utility - Team-Wide Action Speed & Critical Rate Buff for WW players; High Dribble, Action Speed & Reflexes

4) Ancient Wisdom: Increases recovery power and pass effect by 50%

Detailed Analysis:
She is the 'Nari' of the Whirlwind element.
If you compare her with an evolved Nari, you will find that they are very similar except that she is slightly better.
Due to her attack power/critical damage totem.
Her rating will be greatly increased after her EE but now, she still falls behind Nari by 20% pass effect and base pass stats.
Lacks ardor slot; cannot use Ignition Catalyst
Average Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ 1200 with totem/stones to non-lucid striker

PvP - Desirable generally; Lack of EE; provides critical rate and critical damage/attack power totem
CoD - Desirable generally; would be way better with EE

4) Natural Influence: Increases the attack power by 20% and critical damage by 15% of the allies within the position with a pass

> Luka, The Shy Bikini Lady™ (S-)
Detailed Analysis:
The last season one 5* assist to get an EE.
Her speed totem, both buffs and debuffs, and the capability to equip an ignition catalyst makes her the #1 PvP assist.
PvE wise, she is slightly above average as she buffs penetration power which increases damage to high damage reduction GKs.
Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ 1900 with totem/stones to non-lucid striker
Stat Buff - Penetration power
PvP - Desirable due to speed/critical rate totem
CoD - Average; Penetration power increases damage against damage reduction GK; Speed totem
Utility - Speed Buff totem and High Speed Debuff upon pass
Weather Immunity:
Rainy - Useless crap

1) Lovely Shy Shift III (Active): Transfers 180% of pass effect and 40% of penetration power
2) Strategic Pass: Recovers additional spirit by 20% with a pass

4) Set Play: Increases action speed, critical rate and pass effect by 20% within the position

Brief Analysis:
Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ 1200 with totem/stones (good slots) to non-lucid striker
Stat Buff - Penetration power
PvP - Slightly desirable for utility striker maybe
CoD - Average; Penetration power increases damage against damage reduction GK but low pass makes it overall worse than other assistor
Utility - Self-reflex buff; one of the highest reflex assistor
Weather Immunity:
Piercing Wind - Slightly useful for Assistor; increase survivability
Skills:
1) Electronic Reaction II (Active): Transfers 170% of the pass effect and 30% of the penetration
2) Psychopath II: Increases reflex by 40% for 6 min with an attack.
3) Wide View: Passes recovers 30% additional spirit
4) Concentration: Increases the pass effect and reflex by 15% for 10 min with a pass. (Accumulates up to 3 times)

Detailed Analysis:
Silla, was one of the most popular assist ever since her EE got released.
Her active stat buff was changed from HP buff to attack power.
She got buffed with a penetration and attack power totem.
She provides action bar recovery to line and high spirit regeneration.
One of the most desirable assist in PvP.
High base reflexes also make her a good reflex wall when built with reflex stones.
Average Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ 1600 with totem/stones to non-lucid striker
Stat Buff - Attack Power
PvP - High desirability due to penetration power totem and action bar recovery on pass
CoD - Highly desirable due to penetration power totem and action bar recovery on pass
Utility - Action bar & Spirit Recovery upon pass
Weather Immunity:
Rainy - Useless crap

1) Guardian Through III (Active): Transfers 180% of the pass and 40% of the Attack Power
2) Gap of Light II: Recovers the Action Bar of allies within the position by 35% with a pass

4) Crest of Wisdom: Recovers spirit by 50% and HP by 30% with a pass

Detailed Analysis:
White Guardenia was hyped to be unpenetratable when her skills got released.
However, after her release, its observed that she can be killed easily by players with penetration power.
Her main usage is strategic, to act as a wall to players with low penetration power.
For example, in high level CoD gatekeeper champion matches to prevent the dark swirly in mid from penetrating through.
Average Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ 900 initial, can go up to ~1300 if passives proc
Stat Buff - Critical Damage
PvP - High desirability due to Ace & Impregnability
CoD - Highly desirable due to Ace
Utility - Cannot be penetrated
Weather Immunity:
Piercing Wind - Slightly useful for Assistor; increase survivability
Skills:
1) Ragnarok II (Active): Transfers 170% of the pass and 30% of the Critical Damage
2) Show Me What You've Got: Decreases the inflicted damage by 10% and increases the pass effect by 20% for 12 min when you're attacked (Accumulates up to 5 times)
3) Come On In: Decreases the incoming damage by 100% and recovers 50% when being penetrated
4) Try Stealing This II: Increases the pass effect and reflexes by 60% for 8 min when being stealed upon

Detailed Analysis:
The only legendary assist in game
Highest pass ever with critical damage.
Most suited for PvE.
In PvP, he often displays the drawback of being slower than the striker and thus, inefficient to a great extent.
Average Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ 2500 with totem/stones to non-lucid striker
Stat Buff - Critical Damage
PvP - Average desirability due to high pass but lack of critical rate buff to striker
CoD - Highly desirable due to critical damage buff to striker for OHKO
Utility - High reflexes for steal/counterattack
Weather Immunity:
Rainy - Useless crap
Skills:
1) Extinction Shift (Active): Transfers 180% of the pass and 40% of the Critical Damage
2) Schizophrenia: Increases critical rate, pass effect, and reflexes by 40%

> Shura, The Amnesiac Rabbit Lady™ (A)
Detailed Analysis:
Designed to be the ultimate critical rate passer for PvP but FAILED terribly.
The critical rate provided is probably 20% more than Nari for the first shot which is insignificant.
The other passive that procs when enemies within the position makes an action does account or help for the first shot.
The # of actions required for the maximum is also a joke.
However, with the recent reduction to the # of actions required for many players, we can foresee a reduction for Shura in the future too.
In addition, the passive might be changed to proc whenever a player within enemy team makes an action instead.
That would probably help her to be the ultimate critical rate passer.
Average Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ 1200 with totem/stones to non-lucid striker
Stat Buff - Critical Rate
PvP - Above Average desirability for reflex strikers like ravian or strikers that requires critical rate desperately
CoD - Less desirable due to low pass and non-damage buff active; might be useful with reflex strikers etc.
Utility - 30% reflex debuff totem

1) Uncertainty Principle II (Active): Transfers 170% of the pass effect and 30% of the critical rate
2) Sharp Pass: Increases pass effect by30%
3) Risk Field: Decreases enemy's critical resistance by 5% for 5 min with a 50% chance whenever enemies within the position make an action. (Accumulates up to 15 times)
4) Inspiring II: Increases the critical rate and reflexes by 30% within the position

> Alkyde, The Masochistic Female™ (A)
Detailed Analysis:
Alkyde used to be the only dark (critical damage stat buff) assist that is an alternative to Baltheon.
She is a boss and hence easily farmable to full superbs.
She was highly desirable in the past before the level 30 legend box was released because Baltheon is very hard to obtain.
Alkyde is often used in the frontline with reflex strikers to debuff enemy backlines in both PvP and PvE.
Examples of strikers are Ravian etc.
Average Maximum Pass (Endgame) ~ 1000 with totem/stones to non-lucid striker
Stat Buff - Critical Damage
PvP - Average desirability due to reflex debuff totem
CoD - Quite desirable due to reflex debuff totem + critical damage stat buff to striker

The critical rate provided is probably 20% more than Nari for the first shot which is insignificant.
The other passive that procs when enemies within the position makes an action does account or help for the first shot.
The # of actions required for the maximum is also a joke.
However, with the recent reduction to the # of actions required for many players, we can foresee a reduction for Shura in the future too.
In addition, the passive might be changed to proc whenever a player within enemy team makes an action instead.
That would probably help her to be the ultimate critical rate passer.
