*Ratings are based on the usefulness of the legendaries/superb bosses (season 1) in the current meta, with regards to PvE & PvP content.
Some Facts To Note:
Legendaries are now classified as "New-Star" & "Classic"
New Star Legendaries are the latest released Legends of each element (Jiho - Duran - Felix - Vonchi - Serestia).
New Star Legendaries are not available on scout - they can be bought for 1500 dimension stones (DS).
A New Star Legendary becomes a Classic Legendary when a new legend of the same element is released.

Legendary Ranking (PvE) + Explanations:
In PvE matches, the ranking is based on necessity & usefulness of the legend in current CoD/CoT/CoI/Dimension Boss/Superb Boss.
Season 1 Legendary/Superb Boss Rankings & Match Worth Purchasing?:
Brief Explanations:
- Aslan provides incredible team buffs, to attackers, defenders, goalkeepers and is a great spirit generator.
- White Guardenia (WG) is ranked 2nd in PvE, only because of the usefulness of her 100% DR when attacked.
She has been used successfully in previous 2x WG wall PvE CoT strategies and it's important to have her around. - Yeon is a team buffer (for attack power + critical rate mainly) that is not irreplaceable in PvE.
It can be good to have her when you do not have legendary totems like Khirel, Jiho etc. - Alice is a enemy team reflex/critical rate debuffer + line action speed debuff totem who is great in PvP but not really used in PvE atm.
Legendaries PvP & PvE Rankings (Based on Roles):
PvP rankings are updated to the current PvP meta.
PvE rankings are based on necessity + usefulness of the legend in current CoD/CoT/CoI/Dimension Boss
Brief Explanation of the Rankings:
- Cypher is undoubtedly the #1 striker in both PvP and PvE.
The reason why Miri, William, Vonchi, Leventor are of the same PvP rank, it's because they are good against certain GK and bad against certain GKs. - Miri does better than the rest, against more GKs and in more formations but she is weak against the current PvP meta GK (Ein), hence, I did not give her a higher ranking than the other 3.
William is good against critical resistance GK such as Kirna; Leventor for Raphaela and Vonchi for Presty/Ein if you do not have Cypher.
Brief Explanation of the Rankings:

Brief Explanation of the Rankings:
Brief Explanation of the Rankings:
- Ein, #1 GK with high pen resist, high DR, spirit drain, long pass with AB recovery to vertical line; weakness against fast/ab recovery strikers that can do multiple shots within 4 mins; weakness against shots before the 4th minute of a match but strong enough to withstand OHKO.
- Raphaela is rated lower than Kirna in PvP because of her vulnerability to OHKO formation.
- Kirna ability to resist crit has improved with the LUQ/unique balancing.
- Both Kirna and Raphaela have an unique advantage that allows them to survive longer than Presty, against the #1 PvP striker, Cypher.
Raphaela has elemental advantage while Kirna, being uncrittable by Cypher + her shield is able to survive much longer.
Which is why Presty is rated 4th; but that doesn't mean Presty is bad.
Presty GK ability is very close behind Kirna/Raphaela and has advantages towards certain striker such as Kirin.
Brief Explanation of the Rankings:
- Baltheon, the most used assist in high level PvP, hence ranked #1.
However, in PvE, he can be replaced by other assist such as Sakiel, to generate similar amount of damage output. - Nabi, good for OHKO strategy; good for countering action speed/ab control teams; good mid-wall with action speed totem
Important in PvE for OHKO, Kirin frontline etc. - Jibril is rated higher than Dalgi in PvP because Dalgi is mostly used for stacked active strikers.
Jibril team buffs on death, and team heal on pass, is unsurpassed by any other player cards in game, which is useful in both PvE and PvP.
Her ability to reset active cooldown allows you to use any active twice in PvE/Galaxy Live etc. - Dalgi can be ranked similarly to Jibril in PvP if you are using a stacked active striker like Cypher/Vonchi.
Brief Explanation of the Rankings:
- Jiho/Duran are both key players in the standard rainbow legend-fest backline, followed by Garriot.
- Felix is also a great midline CM but is often seen to be replaced by Serestia, Khirel, Ashe, Duke etc.
- The nerfed Metatron has disappeared from midline CM and endgame PvP in general.
Brief Explanation of the Rankings:
- Khirel, is the #1 PvE totem; highest team damage buff that does not require spirit
- It's a tough choice between Ashe, Queen and Khirel for the top 3 PvP rankings.
Overall, I rated Ashe on top of the other two, because of his active which decrease enemy GK penetration resistance (20%). - Queen is slightly better than Khirel at walling but Khirel buffs team without needing to cast an active.
Hence, I gave them the same PvP ranking. - Shu team AB recovery, spirit generation and line-breaking ability is why I rated him higher than duke.
Duke is a great midline wall but not a team player; thus ranked last.
Brief Explanation of the Rankings:
- Serestia is undoubted #1 in both PvE and PvP, when compared to the other legendary leaders.
- Aiolos is 2nd for PvP because she is great against stacked active strikers (Vonchi/Cypher).
She also provides a critical damage resistance active and critical resistance totem for GK in backline.
She is also used in PvE CoT content, to a certain extent. - Choi (IC) is useful in PvP for speeding up frontline against action speed/AB control backlines.
- Both Choi, Bell, Valkyrja Beth are not really used in any PvE content atm.
Legendary Ranking (PvE) + Explanations:
In PvE matches, the ranking is based on necessity & usefulness of the legend in current CoD/CoT/CoI/Dimension Boss/Superb Boss.
Brief Explanation of the PvE Rankings:
- Serestia & Nabi are involved in 2 key PvE strategies.
- Nabi for any forward pass > OHKO strategy and full action bar recovery for Kirin frontline in CoT etc.
- Serestia is used for the PvE strategy - Serestia deaths > followed by OHKO
- Nabi for any forward pass > OHKO strategy and full action bar recovery for Kirin frontline in CoT etc.
- Cypher and Miri are important OHKO strikers for CoD/CoI/CoT.
In the past, legendary strikers will not be included in PvE rankings when Sharr was the top striker; but times have changed. - Khirel, the #1 PvE damage totem.
- Askeladd & Jibril rankings are very close, depending on the need for them in CoT content.
Sometimes, Jibril can be ranked higher than Askeladd if CoT requires more of Jibril abilities. - Aiolos and Shu are useful for certain PvE CoT content but can also be borrowed from friend aces.
- Felix is mainly used for CoI, to heal GK and recover AB etc.
Legendary Ranking (PvP) Explanations:
How does the PvP rankings work:
- First, to rank 30 legends by their PvP abillity is going to be highly inaccurate due to their different PvP contribution to different types of teams.
- Instead, the criteria to rank the legend will be based on their ability to revolutionize your PvP gameplay when you obtain them.
- For example, drawing an Ashe, or a Queen is not likely to propel you to PvP Galaxy League or up a PvP tier.
However, this does not mean that they are not good PvP players; Ashe & Queen are very good PvP players in the right midline.
In contrast, drawing a Cypher/Ein will most likely put you in a good position to have a chance to get to PvP Galaxy League.
- Kirna is not included because of her greater dependence for specific backline players and LUQs.
Hence, even if you draw her, but without the right backline players & LUQ to synergize with her, you might not be able to get her to work to her maximum potential in PvP.
Raphaela & Presty, in contrast, fits well with most backline more easily than Kirna. - If you do not have any legendary striker, chances are, you will be using Damien.
Any legendary striker definitely will bring your PvP game up to a higher level, adding more variation to your PvP weapons.
