#PvP Formation Conceptualization With Ravian As Striker
(Revised September 2015)
This guide will talk about how to create your own PvP frontline formations with ravian as striker
There are 3 main types of Ravian Front-Line:
So how should we build our Ravian frontline?
The gist is to focus on one type of frontline and build it to its best.
Do not mix damage with cheese or damage with reflex etc.
For example, a ravian - bell - balth frontline will be a mistake.
Focus on one type of frontline.
However, if you are using a reflex front and you see a 90% CA resist backline, you know its time to change strategy.
The Cheese Front:
Common players used:
Common Ravian Cheese Front-Line Variations:
Pros:
The Reflex Front
How does it work?
Common Players Used:
*You can use a combination of the above for a 3 man / 4 man front line to trap enemy inwards.
Cons:
Counterattack/Reflex steal is RNG based. No guarantee.
Many counterattack resist lines out there (up to 90% CA resist)
We do not know how CA resist works exactly so its ambiguous.
The Damage Front:
How it works?
We try to go for 2HKO.
Ravian gravity down does 40% HP damage and we try to do the other 60% damage by Ravian shots.
Currently,
So taking the upper limit, Ravian should do around 60% x 4,000 HP = 2,400 damage by her shots.
To achieve this, most people utilize these damage front formations:
For jins with 4K hp, its quite hard for a Ravian to do 2,400 damage.
But for other GKs, Ravian damage front can work for 2 shots pretty easily.
However, to kill a Jin with 3 shots is very possible with this damage frontline.
Thanks for reading =)

This guide will talk about how to create your own PvP frontline formations with ravian as striker
There are 3 main types of Ravian Front-Line:
- The Cheese Front - players that deal % HP damage are utilized to synergize with Ravian
- The Reflex Front - ravian steal - shoot - steal - shoot or other front-line players steal and pass to ravian to shoot
- The Damage Front - maximize damage and try to go for 2HKO
So how should we build our Ravian frontline?
The gist is to focus on one type of frontline and build it to its best.
Do not mix damage with cheese or damage with reflex etc.
For example, a ravian - bell - balth frontline will be a mistake.

However, if you are using a reflex front and you see a 90% CA resist backline, you know its time to change strategy.
The Cheese Front:
Common players used:
- Jeunese - Active deals 25% HP damage to GK
- Jury - Passive deals 15% HP to enemy line when attacked
- White Guardenia - 100% damage reduction when penetrated & assist (provides an extra shot)
- Sammy - Revives dead allies and action bar recovery
Common Ravian Cheese Front-Line Variations:
- Ravian - Jeunese - Assist Ravian 20% HP damage on 1st shot.
Jeunese takes away 25% HP right away on active.45% HP gone + ravian shot damageAssist provides for a 2nd shot when active used.
Usually 3 shots needed to finish off any GK - Ravian - Jury - White Guardenia/AssistJury CF; usually deals 30% HP damage when faced with 4 man backlineCoupled with 20% HP damage from Ravian shot50% HP damage gone + Ravian shot damageDamage dealt could be more, depending on if Jury was holding the ball etc
Usually 3 shots needed to finish off any GK - Ravian - Jeunese - Sammy Similar to (A)Except that Sammy revives Ravian in case she is killed.
Usually 3 shots needed to finish off any GK - Ravian - Jury - Jeunese
20% HP taken from Ravian shot
30% HP from Jury passive
25% HP from Jeunese Active
75% HP gone + Ravian shot damage
Usually 2 shots needed to finish off any GK

Pros:
- Simple and straightforward
- Most top players use the cheese type synergized with a metatron - beth mid that recovers action bar.
The Reflex Front
How does it work?
- We have our frontline reflex >> enemy backline reflexes to make use of Ravian extra turn after shooting
- Ravian shoot > steal > shoot > steal and if fail, others can steal also.
- And if enemy tries to penetrate, we counter attack them.
Common Players Used:
- Victoria - 50% reflex buff to line
- Alkyde - Assist and 30% reflex debuff to enemy lines
- Black Daisy - 20% reflex buff to line
- Metatron - 30% reflex debuff to enemy line
- Kiki/Anael/Tyler - Stealer
- Avnore - 20% reflex debuff to enemy lines
- Black Ivy/Lia - 30% reflex debuff to enemy lines
- Many more....
Currently,
- Isillia, Black Tortoise GK are usually 2,000 to 2,500 HP.
- Kei GK is around 2,000 to 3,000 HP.
- Jin Gk is around 3,000 to 4,000 HP.
So taking the upper limit, Ravian should do around 60% x 4,000 HP = 2,400 damage by her shots.
To achieve this, most people utilize these damage front formations:
- Double Assists (Balth, Luka, Silla, Nari etc) + Ravian
- Assist - Elaine - Ravian
For jins with 4K hp, its quite hard for a Ravian to do 2,400 damage.
But for other GKs, Ravian damage front can work for 2 shots pretty easily.
However, to kill a Jin with 3 shots is very possible with this damage frontline.
